Paul A. Matiasic
Paul Matiasic is a trial attorney focused on representing clients in personal

Paul completed his undergraduate education at Santa Clara University and
later attended the Pepperdine University School of Law. During his time
at Pepperdine, Paul was included on the Dean’s List for his academic
excellence, served as student body President, was a student mentor, and
worked as a volunteer at the Union Rescue Mission Legal Clinic. He also
ranked at the top of his class as a student at Oxford University, where
he studied International and European Union law.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Matiasic founded Matiasic & Johnson
LLP in 2007. During his practice with the firm, Paul has scored multiple
six- and seven-figure verdicts and settlements on behalf of numerous injured
clients, handling various types of product liability, premises liability,
motor vehicle, and medical malpractice cases. In 2009, Paul secured a
landmark victory in an amputation case on the Central Coast, securing
a multiple seven-figured settlement on behalf of his clients in the process.
He would later in 2011 serve as trial counsel in a dangerous condition
of public property case and help secure the largest wrongful death jury
verdict in Madera County’s history. The trial lasted five weeks

Scott L. Johnson
Scott L. Johnson is an attorney and founding partner of Matiasic &
Johnson LLP. He focuses his practice on handling wrongful death, personal
injury, product liability, public entity liability, and medical malpractice claims.
Mr. Johnson attended California State University Stanislaus for his undergraduate
education, where he would graduate in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science
Degree, with honors. Scott would later attend earn his Juris Doctorate
in 1996 from Golden Gate University School of Law. During his time in
law school, Scott primarily studied civil litigation, torts, and trial advocacy.
After law school, Scott joined a small civil litigation boutique that specialized
in handling catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. He would try
numerous cases to verdict within his first two years of practicing law,
gaining invaluable experience along the way. During this time, he earned
his first jury trial verdict as lead trial counsel, securing a six-figure
judgment against a hospital for premises liability.
Mr. Johnson has since tried countless cases to verdict and has represented
clients in both State and Federal courts, including many post-trial appeals
and securing various victories. He is a member of the American Bar Association,
the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, Consumer Attorneys of California,
and the State Bar of California.
Hannah E. Mohr
Hannah E. Mohr is an associate attorney at Matiasic & Johnson LLP.
She handles products liability, personal injury, wrongful death, and medical
Ms. Mohr earned her undergraduate degree from University of California
at Los Angeles in 2010 and subsequently earned her Juris Doctorate from
the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2013. During
her time at Hastings, Hannah studied health care law and served as an
extern with the Health Care Policy Approval Bureau of the California Department
of Insurance. After law school, she worked as a graduate legal research
fellow with the UCSF / UC Hastings Consortium on Law, Science, and Health
Policy, until later joining Matiasic & Johnson LLP.
Ms. Mohr is a member of numerous professional organizations, including
the Consumer Attorneys of California, the American Bar Association, the
State Bar of California.
